Slot booking for turf, courts, and rooms in Bangladesh

Bookings is a slot calendar for anything you rent by the hour-turf fields, courts, studios, meeting rooms. Staff book free slots with peak prices and advances, run weekly teams, block maintenance time, and take quote requests from a public page. The Turf add-on adds sports per area when a ground needs them.

One calendar the desk works on

A column per resource and a row per time step. Free slots show their price; bookings show the customer, status, and what is still due. Two screens stay in step because the calendar refreshes on its own.

No double booking

The system refuses a second booking on a taken slot, even when two people click at the same moment.

Money stays on the booking

Record advances and refunds by cash, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or other. Each booking shows paid, partial, or due. Changing prices later never rewrites bookings already made.

Public page for quote requests

Visitors ask for a pitch tonight, tomorrow, or Friday, or register interest in a weekly evening. Requests do not hold the slot until staff confirm a quote.

How a turf desk books a night

  1. 01

    Set up the resources

    Add pitches or rooms with slot length or set lengths, opening hours, and peak prices. Late-night hours work: 4 PM to 2 AM counts as one evening.

    Book the free slot

    Open the calendar, click a free slot or drag across several, find or add the customer by phone, take a bKash advance if needed, and save. Put a hold without payment when the customer needs a few minutes.

  3. 03

    Handle changes

    Drag a booking to another free slot or resource, keep the agreed price or take the new time's price, or cancel with a reason and refund if you choose. Block maintenance so nobody books over it.

  4. 04

    Check in at the gate

    Open the booking near start time, check the customer in, and take the rest of the payment. Mark a no-show after the start when the team never arrives.

Day and month calendar

Book from a free slot, drag to move, or use month view to pick a resource and start time. Filter to one resource when the desk is busy.

Peak prices and set lengths

Mark busy weekdays and hours. Offer 60 and 90 minute lengths side by side with their own peak prices, or sell by slot.

Weekly team bookings

Repeat the same time for up to the weeks set in Booking settings. Taken or closed weeks are skipped, and each week keeps its own payments.

Blocked times

Block slots or whole days for maintenance, holidays, or private events. A block is refused while bookings sit in that time so you can move them first.

Reports and home tile

Booked value, collections, occupancy, no-shows, and cancellations by resource and day, with Excel export. The home dashboard shows today's bookings, due amount, and holds waiting for an advance.

Customer SMS

Confirm, move, cancel, and reminder messages use the business SMS setup. They stay off until you turn each one on in Settings.

FAQ

Questions about bookings

What is Workcel Bookings for?
Any business that sells time on something it owns-turf and futsal grounds, sports courts, gaming zones, studios, meeting rooms-mostly booked by phone or walk-in.
Can a turf stay open past midnight?
Yes. Set a close time earlier than the open time (for example 4 PM to 2 AM). Those late slots count on the opening day.
Can one turf offer both 1-hour and 90-minute bookings?
Yes. Under Booking and prices, choose Set lengths, add 60 and 90 minutes with their prices, and set start times to every 30 minutes. The calendar then offers both lengths from any free start.
Can a customer pay in parts?
Yes. Take an advance when booking, then take the rest later, in as many payments as needed and by any method, until nothing is due.
If I change prices, do existing bookings change?
No. Each booking keeps the price it was made at. When you move a booking you can choose to use the new time's price.
What does the Turf add-on add?
Sports per area, a sport filter on the calendar once you have two or more sports, and a by-sport report for revenue and occupancy. Bookings still runs without it.
