Sales module

Sales orders from confirm to collection

Workcel Sales is for the orders that do not finish at a cash register. Confirm a customer order, check stock, ship from the right warehouse, invoice in BDT, and follow what is still outstanding as baaki or COD—without a second sales book beside the shop counters.

অর্ডার, ডেলিভারি, বাকি—এক হিসাবে।

Know what was ordered, what shipped, and who still owes you.

Ordered and shipped are different facts

Confirm the order first, then ship what is available. Partial deliveries stay visible instead of being assumed complete.

Stock before promise

Availability checks against the warehouse you ship from, so sales does not quietly oversell what POS already rang up.

Baaki you can chase

Outstanding collection and COD baaki sit on the sales views in BDT—a report, not a personal notebook.

Sales flow

How a customer order runs end to end

  1. 01

    Confirm the order

Raise a sales order against the customer and the products they want. Confirm it so warehouse and accounts both know what is committed.

  2. 02

    Check and ship

Check availability at the fulfilment location, create a delivery, and validate it when the goods leave. Stock draws down from the right place.

  3. 03

    Invoice in BDT

Invoice what shipped so the money side matches the goods side. Product taxes and customer details stay on the same record.

  4. 04

    Follow collections

Record payments and keep baaki or COD outstanding visible. Sales Analysis shows how the book is performing when you need margin too.

Inside sales

Everything that keeps daily work moving

Sales orders

Create, confirm, and track customer orders so the warehouse knows what to prepare and sales knows what is still open.

Deliveries from stock

Ship from a chosen location, validate or cancel a delivery, and keep inventory honest as goods leave.

Invoices and payments

Invoice shipped goods in BDT and record payments against them so the outstanding balance is always current.

Baaki and COD

Credit sales and cash-on-delivery collections stay visible on sales views—common Bangladesh trade, not an afterthought.

Sales Analysis

Review sales performance in one place. Margin figures need cost permission, so floor staff can sell without seeing your mark-up.

Works beside POS

Walk-in counters use POS. Wholesale and account customers use Sales. Both share the same catalog, stock, and company.

FAQ

Questions about sales

Do we need Sales if we already have POS?
If you only ring up walk-in customers at a counter, POS may be enough. If you confirm larger orders, ship from a warehouse, invoice later, or collect baaki, Sales is the module for that flow.
What if we can only ship part of an order?
Deliveries record what actually shipped against the order, so a partial delivery stays visible and the rest remains outstanding rather than assumed complete.
Can we track baaki and COD?
Yes. Sales order views include collection and COD baaki so outstanding amounts stay visible in BDT instead of a side notebook.
Does Sales reduce the same stock POS uses?
Yes. Deliveries draw from the stock location you ship from—the same inventory picture your POS stations and warehouse transfers use.
Is there a sales report?
Yes. Sales Analysis sits with the sales module. Seeing margin also needs cost permission, so you control who can view profitability.
