POS software built for Bangladesh counters

Workcel POS runs the register, the cash drawer, and the paperwork in one screen. Cashiers sell from your live product catalog, take payment, print a receipt, and close the shift against counted cash—while owners see every outlet in BDT from the same system that holds stock, purchases, and staff.

দ্রুত বিক্রি, সঠিক ক্যাশ হিসাব।

Stop matching the cash drawer against a notebook after every shift.

Shifts that reconcile

Open a session with a starting float, record cash in and out during the day, then close against counted cash and see the difference immediately.

Discounts with a rule

A cashier can take a small line discount. Larger order discounts need manager approval, so margin does not quietly disappear at the counter.

Sells from real stock

Each station is bound to a stock location, so the product grid is the stock that outlet actually holds—not a company-wide total.

Register flow

How a shift runs on Workcel POS

  1. 01

    Open the session

The cashier signs in and opens a register session with the opening cash amount. Managers with wider access can open or close a session on behalf of any cashier when someone leaves mid-shift.

  2. 02

    Build the order

Search or tap products from the live catalog, adjust quantities, remove lines, add a delivery charge, and attach a customer. A cashier can quick-add a walk-in customer with just name and phone.

  3. 03

    Take payment and print

Move to payment, finalise the sale, and print a receipt. If the customer asks for an invoice, print an invoice PDF from the same paid order.

  4. 04

    Close and account for cash

Record any cash taken out or added during the shift, close the session against counted cash, and review expected versus counted on the POS dashboard. Refunds on settled orders stay in the same history.

Inside pos

Everything that keeps daily work moving

Cash sessions and drawer control

Opening float, cash in, cash out, close against counted cash, and expected-versus-counted visibility for managers.

Receipts and invoices

Print a receipt for a normal sale, or download an invoice PDF when the customer needs one—from the same paid order.

Controlled discounting

Separate permissions for line discounts, order discounts, and manager approval, so who can cut price is a decision, not a habit.

Refunds and cancellations

Cancel a draft order before payment or refund a settled one. Both stay on the order history instead of vanishing from the day's numbers.

Stations tied to stock

Configure each register as a station bound to its own stock location, so a second outlet never sells the warehouse's quantity by accident.

Restaurant as a POS add-on

Turn on the restaurant add-on and the same register gains a floor plan, open tickets through service, a chef board, and split checks.

FAQ

Questions about pos

Is Workcel POS cloud-based?
Yes. Workcel POS runs in the browser, so a manager can see outlet sales without walking to the shop. You need a working internet connection at the counter.
Can we control the cash drawer properly?
Yes. Cashiers open a session with a starting amount, record cash in and out during the shift, and close against counted cash. Managers can compare expected and counted cash on the POS dashboard.
Can we stop cashiers giving unlimited discounts?
Yes. Line discounts, order discounts, and discount approval are separate permissions. You decide which roles can discount and which need a manager to approve.
Can we print a receipt and an invoice from POS?
Yes. A normal sale prints a receipt. When the customer needs an invoice, you can download an invoice PDF from the paid order. Workcel does not file VAT returns with the NBR.
Can several outlets use the same POS?
Yes. Every outlet sells from one company catalog, and each register is a station bound to its own stock location. Staff get access to the counters and screens their role needs.
How is POS different from Sales?
POS is the counter and cash drawer for walk-in and takeaway sales. Sales is the B2B order flow—confirm, ship, invoice, and follow baaki or COD. Most growing businesses run both.
