HR and attendance beside the operation

Workcel HR keeps employees, departments, designations, attendance, and leave in the same company as your shops and warehouses. Staff clock in on a shared kiosk with a PIN, managers review extra hours and leave, and each person's ERP access follows their role.

হাজিরা, ছুটি, আর টিম—একই সিস্টেমে।

Stop keeping the attendance register in one book and the team list in another.

One kiosk, whole team

Run the attendance kiosk on a manager's PC or a tablet at the door. Employees clock in and out with their own PIN—no separate device per person.

Extra hours are approved, not assumed

Extra hours are reviewed per employee per day, so overtime is something a manager agrees to rather than something discovered later.

History is kept, not deleted

Archiving a leaver keeps their attendance history with a last working day and reason. Deletion is blocked once attendance exists.

How HR runs day to day

  1. 01

    Build the org

Add employees with their departments and designations. Archive rather than delete when someone leaves, so the history behind your numbers stays intact.

  2. 02

    Clock in on the kiosk

Open the attendance kiosk on a shared machine at the entrance. Each employee clocks in and out with their own PIN, which is separate from any login they may have.

  3. 03

    Review the day

Correct a missed punch manually where allowed, then approve or refuse extra hours per employee per day. Attendance can be exported when you need it outside the system.

  4. 04

    Handle leave and access

Staff raise leave requests and managers approve them. Give an employee a company role when they need ERP access, and switch that login off without touching their kiosk PIN.

Inside hr

Everything that keeps daily work moving

Employee records

Employees with departments and designations, plus archive and unarchive so leavers keep their history instead of disappearing.

Shared attendance kiosk

A PIN-based clock-in station that runs on a manager's PC or a tablet—one device for the whole team.

Extra-hours approval

Approve or refuse extra hours per employee per day, so overtime is a decision with a record behind it.

Manual corrections

Add, edit, or remove punches when someone forgets to clock in—restricted to the roles you allow.

Leave requests

Staff request leave, managers review it, and today's absences show up beside today's attendance.

Access follows the role

Give an employee a company role to grant ERP access, or switch their login off. Kiosk PIN and system login stay separate concerns.

FAQ

Questions about hr

Do we need a fingerprint machine for attendance?
No. Workcel runs a shared attendance kiosk on a normal PC or tablet. Employees clock in and out with their own PIN, so you do not need a device per person.
Is the kiosk PIN the same as an ERP password?
No. The kiosk PIN only clocks attendance. ERP access is separate—you give an employee a company role when they need to use Workcel, and you can disable that login without changing their PIN.
How are extra hours handled?
Extra hours are approved or refused per employee per day by someone with that permission, so overtime is agreed rather than inferred from raw punch data.
Can staff apply for leave in the system?
Yes. Employees raise leave requests and managers review them, so today's leave shows up next to today's attendance instead of in a separate message thread.
Does Workcel run payroll?
Not today. Workcel covers employee records, departments, designations, attendance, extra hours, and leave. Attendance can be exported for whatever you use to calculate salary.
What happens when an employee leaves?
Archive them with a last working day and departure reason, which keeps their attendance history. Permanent deletion is blocked once attendance exists.
